Spring for Susannah by Catherine Richmond

Spring for Susannah is a Romantic Historical fiction, set in the US. It is about a woman that learns to love God more and to love and accept herself for what God made her, through the many challanges she faces. From mail order bride to a Faithful Woman of God.

What I loved about this book:
The Biblical teachings that are put into the book, are wonderful and very refreshing for a Believer and very much a tool for a non-believer.
The storyline follows the time-period rather well. I could easily imagine the setting in real life, from the characters feelings to the surroundings.
The words are easy flowing and a enjoyable read. The discussion points really add value and is a wonderful teaching tool to apply some of the Godly principles in our lives.

What I didn’t like about the book:
Quite a few times through the book I felt that there was something missing between the pages. It jumped through different scenes a bit too quickly and I felt there could be more between some of them.

I would definitely choose another Catherine Richmond to read.

I received this e-book free from Thomas Nelson Publishers as part of their BookSneeze.com book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

God Bless
