Sunday Focus – 2011!

Our first Sunday Focus for 2011 is a blog that I have been enjoying reading quite a bit. There are times when I come across a blog that I can’t stop reading. It is like reading a book that I cant close because there is so much that comes through – so much to reflect on, soak in!

Linnie from Back to Ancient Ways is one of those. There is total honesty that comes through her posts. Struggles as well as the good times that she is dealing with.
There are so many challenges regarding motherhood, being a woman of God, choices we make…
The wisdom that God reveals to her that is shared through her blog posts really speak to my spirit!

One of the first things that made me smile is that they have 8 children. I thought to myself “WOW” I am managing 2!
There are so many things shared I wish I had know about when our eldest was born!

There is one thing that I found I was pondering on,  after reading only a few blog posts…DO I know WHO I am???
What an JOURNEY! I do know who I am. A Daughter of the Most High God! But do I like who I am and How I am living my life? Do I reflect God through my life??? Not as much as I had thought!
I thank the Holy Spirit for guiding me to look into my life and use scriptures. Linnie’s blog was a tool that was definitely used over the last month, by the Holy Spirit to bring me closer to the Father!

As we are heading in to the last few weeks awaiting our third child, a son, I was feeling very overwhelmed with coping with 3!  I have since been gently reminded that it is NOT about me! God has given me the strength and power in dealing with everything!

Back to Ancient ways is a true blessing to read! Thank You Linnie for sharing so much! Blessings over you and your family!

God Bless
