Elijah is 42 months!
Life in our house has gotten very very busy. I am busy organizing the school room (the toys and the school now share a larger room.) Unfortunately Elijah tries to trash the room every day…packing away is a constant daily nightmare …But we will get organized [...] We don’t do thanksgiving so this one made me think… I am thankful for the foods on his tray because these he eats. Fussy bunny that he is, it is difficult to spread the creativity around chucken, cheese, tomato sauce, wraps and banana. Head over to MTM [...] I had to raid all craft supplies to gather a few feathers for this one. Since visiting a garden centre not far from us, Peacocks had made quite an impression on my young son. Not that he thought they were “way cool” or anything. He thought them quite scary and he knows what they look [...] My theme? A woolworths day! Woolworths is (in my opinion) the greatest (and mostly more expensive) shop. But i love most of their stuff. Love the comfortable clothes but love the food! I bought one of their kiddies meals, a juice, and dinosaur chocolates that Elijah loves. I just served it up in the muffin [...] Ok so to be totally honest I am not sure I managed to use Henri Matisse as a topic in our OEA but here we go… I saw a few of this Artist’s pieces over the internet but what guided me was the article found on Wikipedia. “known for his use of colour” is about [...] I have been really excited to post this but time has not been on my side. This was not a great week because Elijah was mostly sick and I got sick. Here is the highlights of what we did. Nothing to serious or too structured though. Monday:
Threading with [...] We just love this story. In the beginning, when we first started reading this, it did seem a bit long but Elijah does like this one. Our craft is one of 6 that we are doing to put together for a calendar as presents for the grand parents I didn’t have black paint [...] Was not sure if Elijah was going to be interested in lunch because we are all a bit sick. Really love the theme this week and some of the MTM’s at Her Cup Overfloweth were very interesting and creative Space ship Ham Sandwich, Meat-eor sausage, Exoplanet things (couldn’t find another cute word so googled [...] |
