Muffin tin Monday – no theme

I am enjoying this so much and Elijah is eating really well too.

Macaroni and cheese, a cat sandwich, chocolate milk, chocolate mousse, chicken nuggets and carrots. We are doing C in the Alphabet this week – so I used that for our “no theme”

To see what others are doing head over to [...]

Elijah’s activity Chart

As we usually always have a big palava about day to day chores and just habits like brushing teeth and bathing I made this chart

I got the idea from Frog Academy

The Sandbox:

All this is – a square tupperware container with a piece of fine sandpaper [...]

Our first Totbook

(Elijah is 39 months)

A totbook is a mini lapbook for Tots (more fore ages 2-3).  I chose to do the Cars totbook  (files at TotSchool))

Elijah has been Cars mad for quite a while so it was almost a given that we would do this one first.. I really [...]

Totschool

I first read about “totschool”on Carisa’s blog http://www.1plus1plus1equals1.blogspot.com/

I was blown away by all the ideas and have to stop myself daily from trying it all! The first thing I started implementing with Elijah was the tot trays. Basically it is preparing our day’s activities on trays and then working through them over our day. [...]

“Mommy, do school stuff.”

Oh how my heart started to sing when I heard these words this morning. My Brain was another matter, as I had yet to have a cup of tea.

So our day has started.
